Helen O’Neile was educated at Loughborough University, where she achieved a First Class degree in Economics alongside a prize for her outstanding academic record. After a period working within the financial industry Helen returned to her passion for education and became a Mathematics teacher within the prestigious Teach First programme, where she was rated as outstanding.
All the while Helen continued to develop herself as an educator, combining her talents by tutoring Mathematics and Science. Having now worked in Education for a number of years, Helen is now the General Manager of Bonas Macfarlane Middle East and is responsible for the overall operations of the institution.
Outside of education, Helen is an avid triathlete and has competed at elite student level, which she combines with her love of running and cycling. As such she often looks to encourage her students to seek out their own passions in order to balance the pressures experienced through academia.
